About the Chance

Sequre Care Pty Ltd is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of Whack Sports Brisbane Pty Ltd for a Retail Store Manager to oversee the operations of its Albion store. This is a full-time, permanent role for a results-driven retail leader who can deliver solid sales performance, outstanding customer experience and effective team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of daily store operations to ensure effective and profitable trading
Recruit, train, roster and develop a high-performing retail team
Establish sales targets, monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to achieve budget
Uphold high standards of customer service and manage escalated customer enquiries
Manage inventory control, including purchasing, stock receipt, replenishment and stocktakes
Plan and execute visual merchandising standards and promotional activities
Oversee cash management, banking procedures and POS reconciliation
Prepare and present sales, staffing and operational reports to senior management
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and relevant legislation





Selection Criteria
A Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business or a related discipline, or a minimum of three years' relevant experience in retail management
Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and inspiring teams
A proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management and rostering processes
Strong organisational, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
An interest in sport or knowledge of sporting goods will be highly regarded

Remuneration and Perks
Annual salary of $80,000 plus superannuation
