About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join a major operational site in Cockburn on a 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in supporting maintenance and operational teams by ensuring essential equipment, spare parts, and materials are received, stored, controlled, and distributed efficiently.
Working within a busy industrial environment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse and inventory activities while supporting site operations during a high-demand outage period.
This role requires someone who is organised, proactive, and capable of adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on safety and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, store and issue materials, spare parts and equipmentMaintain accurate inventory records and stock control processesCoordinate deliveries and material movements across siteConduct stocktakes and inventory reconciliation activitiesEnsure warehouse operations comply with site safety requirements and proceduresLiaise with maintenance, operations and supply chain teams to support operational requirementsAssist with planning and coordination of materials during outage periodsMaintain a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environmentProvide leadership support and guidance to the team when required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a Storeperson, Warehouse or Inventory Control position within an industrial,



manufacturing, mining, utilities, energy or heavy industry environmentStrong inventory management and stock control experienceExperience using SAP or a similar ERP systemExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsThe ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesA proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership of tasks and outcomesThe flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced operational environmentA strong commitment to safety, accountability and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
Current Driver's LicenceForklift LicenceWhite CardExperience using SAP or similar ERP systems
Highly Regarded
Experience working in a maintenance, power generation, process plant, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
