We work alongside our customers to embed technology and data into the way their operations run, identify meaningful improvement opportunities and turn those opportunities into measurable results.We're looking for an Engagement Manager to lead that relationship across a portfolio of customer sites.This is a broad, high-trust role combining customer leadership, operational improvement, technology adoption and analytics.
You'll work closely with customer teams to understand their priorities and operating environment, help them get the most from MaxMine, and connect the right people, technology and insights to move things forward.About the roleAs an Engagement Manager, you'll be the primary MaxMine contact for your assigned customer sites.You'll work with stakeholders ranging from frontline users and operational teams through to technical specialists and senior customer leaders.
You'll understand their priorities, identify opportunities, improve adoption of MaxMine, and help translate data and insight into better operating outcomes.You'll develop and maintain transparent engagement plans for your sites, track priorities and actions, and ensure important customer context, risks and opportunities are visible to the wider MaxMine team.The role combines customer leadership, operational understanding, data literacy, coaching and commercial awareness.You'll spend meaningful time on site, but this is not a FIFO or rostered site role.
You'll be based from home and travel regularly to customer sites as required - typically around 5-10 days per month, depending on customer needs and agreed engagement plans.The balance of your time will be spent working remotely with customers and MaxMine teams, preparing for site engagements, analysing performance,
coordinating actions and maintaining momentum between visits.About youYou're comfortable working where operations, people and technology intersect.You may come from mining engineering, technical services, dispatch, production, business improvement or mining technology.Equally, you may have built your experience in another complex operational environment through digital transformation, operational technology, industrial analytics, technology project delivery, customer-facing SaaS or BI solutions.Mining experience is highly advantageous, but it isn't the only path into this role.
What matters is your ability to understand how an operation works, build credibility with experienced stakeholders, interpret data and technology in context, and turn that understanding into action.You can move comfortably between detailed operational or technical conversations and discussions with senior customer stakeholders.

coaching and influencing without formal authorityCan challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationshipsTakes ownership and follows things throughWorks effectively with limited supervisionBalances customer needs with commercial priorities and organisational constraintsIs adaptable across different sites, customers, industries and operating culturesWhat you'll bringWe're looking for a combination of customer capability, operational understanding and analytical thinking.You'll likely have:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining, Engineering, Business or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant industry experience3+ years' experience in mining, heavy industry, operational technology, business improvement, digital transformation, industrial analytics or another relevant operational environmentStrong data literacy and the ability to translate analysis into practical insightExperience engaging with multiple stakeholder groups in complex customer or operational environmentsStrong facilitation, coaching and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage your own priorities and deliver outcomes with limited supervisionA valid Australian driver's licenceUnrestricted Australian working rightsHighly regarded experience includes:Surface mining operations, particularly load and haulDispatch or control room operationsFleet management systemsOperational improvement or productivity programsMining technology, operational technology or industrial SaaSBI, analytics or digital transformation in complex operational environmentsTechnology adoption or behavioural changeCustomer-facing delivery of technical or operational solutionsPlease note: Please note that this vacancy is for a position commencing in ****.Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.
