$75K PA - $95K PA O'Briens Plumbing and Air Conditioning Pty Ltd (ABN **************) is looking for a full time GASFITTER for their thriving business.
This position is located at their site in Wangaratta, Victoria.
O'Briens Plumbing & Air Conditioning in Wangaratta is a long-standing, family-run specialist trade business with over 30 years' experience providing plumbing, heating, cooling and air conditioning solutions across Wangaratta and North East Victoria.
They supply, install, service and repair a wide range of climate control systems—from evaporative coolers and refrigerated ducted units to split-system air conditioners—alongside comprehensive plumbing and gas services, and stock major trusted brands.
The team is made up of qualified and experienced technicians committed to delivering reliable, high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service on both residential and commercial projects.
With a strong local reputation and a well-established presence in the community, O'Briens offers a supportive work environment and plenty of diverse work for a technician looking to grow their skills in heating and cooling trades To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification or at least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
-Studying blueprints,



drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required -Setting out and installing hot and cold water systems and associated equipment -Installing water-based fire protections systems, including fire hydrants, hose reels and sprinkler systems
-Designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures -Fabricating and installing soil and waste stacks -Assembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and small bore heating systems
-Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems -Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems -Installing, maintaining and repairing gas mains, piping systems downstream of the billing meter, and appliances and ancillary equipment associated with the use of fuel gases
-Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings -Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
