SMAART Recruitment is looking for a relationship-focused recruitment professional to join our Adelaide team in a newly evolved growth role.
This isn't a traditional 360 recruitment position, and it's not a pure sales role.
Instead, you'll focus on building strong client relationships, growing existing accounts, re-engaging dormant clients, and identifying new opportunities across our client portfolio.
If you're an experienced recruiter who enjoys the commercial side of the industry, loves meeting clients and naturally spots opportunities, this could be the perfect next step.
The Opportunity:
As our Client Relationship Manager, you'll play a key role in strengthening and growing our client base throughout South Australia.
Working closely with our Adelaide and national teams, you'll become a trusted advisor to clients while helping uncover opportunities that drive growth for both our clients and our business.
Key Responsibilities
Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients
Re-engage dormant clients and rebuild partnerships
Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market engagement
Identify new opportunities within existing accounts
Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals and market engagement
Partner closely with recruiters to help convert opportunities into successful outcomes
Maintain accurate ATS records and activity




Act as a key point of contact and trusted advisor for clients
Build robust market presence across Adelaide and South Australia
About You:
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities.
To be successful, you'll ideally bring:
Previous recruitment industry experience
Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and commercially minded approach
Confidence engaging with hiring managers and business leaders
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
Energy, curiosity and a genuine passion for helping clients succeed
