As an Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III, you will be accountable forassisting and supporting the Nominated Supervisor in the day to day running of the Education and Care Service,contributing to the planning, programming and implementation of a caring, safe and enriching learning environment for the children and developing quality partnerships with children, families, colleagues and the wider community.

$62,****** - $73,****** p.a. + 12% Superannuation
In addition to the above-stated salary, Council's ECEC (Early Childhood Education and Care) employees also enjoy a generous boost in their pay courtesy of the Australian government's ECEC Worker Retention Payments Grants available up to the end of November ****.
Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications
Certificate III in Children's Services (CHC***** or equivalent)




Experience with and/or willingness to be an active and collaborative educator with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, including sound working knowledge of child development, positive behaviour
guidance techniques and strategies for children.
Proven ability to apply knowledge and evidence of the following:
a current NSW Working with Children Check clearance
Identify and Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Statement of Attainment or willingness to undertake the course
Child Protection and Mandatory Reporters requirements and guidelines or willingness to learn
Hold a current First Aid Certificate including emergency management of asthma and anaphylaxis, or willingness to undertake the course
National Child Safety Training - Foundation training certificate
National Child Safety Training - Advanced training certificate
Willing to undertake role of Responsible Person under the National Education and Care Services Regulations
