About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registrar or Senior Registrar (Psychiatry) to provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health care across a diverse range of clinical settings.
Gain diverse psychiatry experience across inpatient, community, consultation-liaison, CYMHS and Alcohol and Other Drug Services.
.
Travel to rural and remote communities including Doomadgee, Mornington Island, Normanton and Cloncurry, delivering specialist mental health services where they are needed most.
Access structured supervision, teaching and professional development opportunities to support RANZCP training and career progression.
Working with us
Base salary ranges between
$5,****** to $6,****** per fortnight (L4-L9) Registrar
$6,****** to $7,****** per fortnight (L10-L13) Senior




Generous employer contribution to superannuation of *****%.

Requirements
Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Board of Australia.
Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Eligibility for appointment at Registrar or Senior Registrar level under the Medical Officers' Certified Agreement.
Completion of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Completion of Mental Health Act **** Authorised Doctor training, or willingness to obtain.
Evidence of competency in English language requirements as prescribed by AHPRA.
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis,



and Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
