Join a dedicated Biomedical Engineering team that plays a vital role in supporting secure, reliable, and effective patient care across South Western Sydney Local Health District.
Contribute to the performance, maintenance, and lifecycle management of critical medical equipment used across multiple hospital and community health sites while collaborating with clinicians, technical specialists, and operational teams.

This role is suited to a motivated and adaptable professional with a strong interest in healthcare technology, medical equipment, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have the ability to support a broad range of biomedical equipment and systems, contribute to technology and infrastructure initiatives, and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
A willingness to participate in on-call, after-hours, and site-based support arrangements, including travel across the district, is essential.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
Bachelor's degree in biomedical or electrical engineering recognised by Engineers Australia OR Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrated experience in the maintenance, repair, and testing of electronic equipment.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve, seek solutions and apply your technical knowledge to resolve presenting issues.
Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with an outstanding commitment to excellent customer service who can work independently and as a team member.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
Learner's licenses are not permitted.
