About The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedSenior Payroll & Bookkeeperto join our dynamic team at our Head Office inBibra Lake.
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper who thrives on payroll, end-of-month processing, budgets and reporting?
If so, this could be the perfect chance for you.
Reporting to and working closely with theCommercial Services Manager, you will receive full support and leadership while being part of a proactive, collaborative and innovative team environment.
This is afull-time position; however,part-time applicants are welcome, with availability required onTuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, based onsite at our Bibra Lake location.
Key Responsibilities
Processend-to-end payroll for approximately 400 employeesacross the organisation
Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with Australian payroll legislation, awards, and superannuation requirements
Maintain payroll records, PAYG, superannuation, and related reporting obligations
Prepare and postjournal entries
Maintaindepreciation schedules and HP loan schedules
Assist withfinancial forecasting, budgets and reporting
Preferred Qualifications & Experience




Proven experience managingmedium to large payrolls (300+ employees preferred)
Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting functions
Proficiency inMYOB
Advanced Excelskills
Experience withbudgets and forecasting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Exceptionalattention to detailin all financial transactions
You Will Also Demonstrate
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures
Robust teamwork skills
A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to set priorities and use initiative
Ability to work independently while supporting theMatic Group Commercial Services Managerand collaborating with the Administration and Accounts team
