About the role
Join the team as an Aboriginal Health Worker – Aboriginal Immunisation and Public Health Support Officer, supporting Aboriginal people and communities to access culturally safe, timely and holistic health services.
You'll build strong community and service-provider networks, help improve childhood immunisation rates, support health promotion initiatives and contribute to better health outcomes across the Mid North Coast.
About you
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, as this is an identified position under the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act ****.
Certificate III in Aboriginal Primary Health Care or a relevant Certificate III health qualification, or a willingness to obtain one.
Robust knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture, history and the factors influencing Aboriginal health.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a culturally respectful and community-focused approach.
Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Confident using computer systems, data management tools and spreadsheets.
Current driver's licence and ability to travel across the district.
Applicants must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Island descent.

Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.
