Description
Westside Physicians is seeking a Consultant Endocrinologist to join our growing multidisciplinary specialist team in Melbourne's western suburbs.
Our two current endocrinologists are heavily booked, and we have a substantial waiting list of patients awaiting appointments.
This provides an chance for an endocrinologist to establish or expand their private practice with existing referral demand.
We welcome enquiries from experienced consultants and newly qualified endocrinologists.
You'll provide outpatient endocrinology consultations at our Maribyrnong and/or St Albans clinics, with consulting sessions arranged to suit your availability.
We offer:
an established GP referral network and strong demand for endocrinology appointments
flexible consulting sessions at one or both locations
an opportunity to build your practice alongside public hospital or other commitments
reception and administrative support
a collegial multidisciplinary team




promotion of your services to referring GPs and through our practice channels.
The successful candidate will have:
FRACP in Endocrinology, or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification
current specialist registration with AHPRA
eligibility for a Medicare provider number at the relevant practice location
appropriate professional indemnity insurance
a thoughtful, patient-centred approach and strong communication skills
a commitment to working collaboratively with referring clinicians and colleagues.
