They should be adept at influencing senior leaders, managing psychosocial risk, and leading injury management and return-to-work programs.
A robust background in safety transformation, critical risk control, and contractor safety management is essential, as is the ability to prepare high-quality reports for senior stakeholders.
The role requires a strategic leader with the ability to build a culture of learning, risk ownership, and continuous improvement, and a background in a relevant high-risk sector such as utilities, construction, energy, or transport is highly valued.
