About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate
Personal Care Assistants
to join our team on a casual basis at our
36-bed aged care facility
, with a particular need for employees who are available to work
night duty shifts
.
To be successful in this role, you will be committed to providing compassionate care, demonstrate professionalism and reliability, and work effectively as part of a supportive team environment.

.
Remuneration
The position offers an hourly rate of
$*****
, plus casual loading, applicable penalties and superannuation, in accordance with the
Local Government, Aged, Disability and Home Care (State) Award
.

Multiple casual positions are available, with a particular focus on recruiting employees for night duty coverage.

Job Requirements
Selection Criterion 1: Relevant Experience and Time Management
Please describe your experience working in a personal care, aged care, disability support, health care, or similar role.
In your response, provide an example of how you effectively managed competing priorities, multiple tasks, or deadlines while maintaining a high standard of service or care.
Selection Criterion 2: Communication, Teamwork and Computer Skills
Describe a situation where you worked as part of a team to achieve a positive outcome.




In your response, outline how you used your communication and interpersonal skills, and include any experience you have using Microsoft Office programs and other computer-based systems in the workplace.
Selection Criterion 3: Commitment to Aged Care, Ethics and Confidentiality
Explain why you are passionate about working in aged care and supporting older people.
Provide an example that demonstrates your commitment to professionalism, ethical behaviour, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering respectful, person-centred care.
Demonstrated availability and willingness to work night duty shifts on a regular basis, including weekends and public holidays.
Flexibility to work additional shifts when required will be highly regarded.
