As the Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a high-quality, inclusive curriculum that reflects the interests, strengths, and needs of all children.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Nominated Supervisor in Developing and implementing a responsive, play based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
Use intentional teaching practices to extend children's learning based on their emerging interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds.
Work collaboratively and respectfully as part of a dynamic team, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Support the Nominated Supervisor with leadership tasks, including guiding educational practice, mentoring educators, and contributing to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Partner with families through ongoing communication, collaboration, and respect for their role in their child's learning journey.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Skills & Experiences
Hold anEarly Childhood Teaching approved qualification (i.e. Bachelor of Teaching or Education)
NESA Teacher Accreditation




A current First Aid Certificate approved by ACECQA that includes applying first aid, emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis
Identify & Respond to Children at Risk of Harm Certificate
A valid Working with Children Check
Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a childcare environment
Sound, practical working knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children's learning
The motivation and ability to inspire and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre
