This position provides a outstanding opportunity for an experienced Motor Mechanic looking to develop their skills to further.You will ensure tasks assigned are carried out in a timely fashion, to a high standard and within the health & safety guidelines.
**To be successful in this role you will have:**·Relevant Trade qualification plus Minimum of 1 years' experience·A passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to succeed in it·Good interpersonal and communication skills·Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team.
·Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure·Demonstrated ability to be able to multitask**Main Duties**·Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts·Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components,



and checking parts·Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed·Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations·Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired·Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance·Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers·May inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve roadworthiness·May respond to vehicle breakdown service calls**Qualification**Trade Qualification·A Trade Certificate in Light Vehicle mechanic or equivalence·Extensive Experience may be considered as substitute for the qualification**Experience**·Previous experience: at least 1 year as a Mechanic**Apply:**If you satisfy the above, please apply without hesitation outlining why you are suitable.Email a copy of your resume to: **\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\******Please note only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
