About the Opportunity
The Customer Support Officer (Bonds & Mediation) plays a keyrole in supporting South Australia's small business community bymanaging security bond enquiries and administration under theRetail and Commercial Leases Act ****, while alsoproviding valuable support to mediation services within theRegulation & Advice team.
In this diverse and rewarding role, you'll be the first point ofcontact for bond related matters, assisting landlords, tenants andother stakeholders through what can often be complex situations.You'll manage bond lodgements and refunds, maintain accuraterecords and financial information, and provide timely, professionaladvice and customer service. You'll also support mediationprocesses and work closely with colleagues to help deliver fair andeffective outcomes for South Australian businesses.

About the Business
The Small Business Commission SA (SBC) is an independentstatutory Office of the South Australian Government within theAttorney-General's Department.
The functions of the office are to:
Facilitate alternative dispute resolution processes betweensmall businesses, and between small businesses and state orlocal government.
Advocate on behalf of the small business community, or asection of it, regarding collective issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders and engage with smallbusinesses to provide information and guidance.
Regulate by administering and enforcing legislative powersand responsibilities assigned to the Small BusinessCommissioner.
Deliver a fair, timely and consistent services to, and onbehalf of, South Australian small businesses.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificateclearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicantswill be provided further information if an interview is requested.
