Windscreen Fitter
to join our team in Young, NSW. This is a
full-time position
offering the opportunity to work in a skilled automotive trade with a company dedicated to providing high‐quality windscreen installation and replacement services. As a Windscreen Fitter, you will be responsible for the professional installation, removal and replacement of vehicle windscreens and other glass components, ensuring all work meets safety standards and customer expectations. This role is based in
Young, NSW ****
and is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive glazing industry.
Key responsibilities
Installing and removing vehicle windscreens, side windows and rear windows using appropriate tools and techniques
Preparing vehicle frames and surfaces to ensure proper fit and adhesion of replacement glass
Applying sealants, adhesives and weatherstripping to secure glass components and prevent leaks
Inspecting glass for damage or defects prior to installation and reporting any issues
Ensuring all installations comply with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
Maintaining and cleaning work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and professional environment
Communicating with customers regarding their windscreen repairs or replacements
Recording installation details and maintaining accurate job documentation
Assisting with vehicle inspections and quality checks following completion of work
What we're looking for
Experience as a Windscreen Fitter or in a similar automotive glazing role (Formal qualifications desirable but not essential)




Knowledge of windscreen installation techniques, materials and safety procedures
Proficiency with windscreen fitting tools and equipment
Understanding of vehicle construction and glass specifications
A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good communication and customer service skills
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various positions, including at height
A commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace
