We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Skilled Tradesperson to join our team, based at our Pittsworth Breeding Piggery.
Job Description
This is a full-time, 38-hour-per-week position supporting the maintenance, repairs and infrastructure requirements across our piggery operations.
The role will primarily operate Monday to Friday, with weekend work only required when operationally necessary.
You will work alongside other experienced tradespeople and travel to other SunPork sites when required. You will need your own reliable vehicle to travel to the Pittsworth site, with carpooling available with other tradespeople for travel between work sites.
Key Responsibilities:
General repairs and preventative maintenance
Maintenance of piggery buildings, equipment and infrastructure
Welding, fabrication and general repair work
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Assisting with installation and maintenance projects
Troubleshooting and repairing equipment as required
Supporting maintenance requirements across multiple sites
Completing work in accordance with WHS and site safety procedures
Working closely with site teams and other tradespeople
About You:
A minimum of 3 year'sexperience working as a tradesperson
Your own reliable vehicle
Strong experience using hand and power tools
Practical maintenance and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to travel to other sites when required
Experience with farm infrastructure, welding, fabrication or agricultural maintenance will be highly regarded.
Previous experience within a piggery or agricultural setting is desirable but not essential for someone with strong transferable trade skills.
