Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking capable Locum ED SRMOs to support Emergency Departments across a range of rural and regional hospitals.

This role is ideal for PGY2+ doctors wanting a change of scenery, stronger ED exposure and the chance to experience locum life outside the metro hospital system.

You will manage acute presentations with guidance from FACEMs, senior registrars or CMOs, while building confidence in emergency care.

Clinical Environment

- Rural and regional Emergency Department settings
- Presentations from minor injuries through to medical resuscitation
- FACEM, senior registrar or CMO supervision and escalation pathways
- Procedural exposure including suturing, cannulation and ALS
- Support from nursing, retrieval, allied health and medical teams

Requirements

- General AHPRA Registration
- PGY2+ with recent Emergency or acute medicine experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing
