Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking PGY3+ Locum ED SRMOs for flexible Emergency Department cover across regional and rural hospitals.

This role suits doctors wanting ED work that can fit around training, family, study, travel or other commitments.

You can choose opportunities that match your experience, whether you are building confidence in ED or ready to step into more senior-level shifts.

Clinical Environment

- Emergency presentations across trauma, paediatrics, medical and surgical cases
- Supervision from FACEMs or senior registrars, depending on site
- Smaller rural sites may offer more autonomy
- Supportive hospital teams and explicit escalation pathways
- Strong option for doctors building acute care confidence

Requirements

- AHPRA Registration
- PGY3+ with at least 6–12 months Emergency Medicine experience
- ALS2 or equivalent highly regarded
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
