WA Country Health Service is seeking Locum ED Doctors to support regional hospitals across Western Australia.

This role is ideal for FACEMs, SMOs and Senior ED Registrars PGY6+ wanting a change of scenery, strong regional Emergency Medicine exposure and the chance to support communities that rely on experienced locum cover.

Opportunities are available across sites including Northam, Narrogin and Merredin, with a mix of day, evening, night, on-call and float shifts.

Clinical Environment

- Regional Emergency Department settings across WA
- Primary doctor, secondary doctor, float and on-call shifts available
- Some inpatient ward cover may also be available
- Supportive regional hospital environments
- Broad exposure across acute presentations and rural health needs

Requirements

- Current AHPRA Registration
- Recent Emergency Medicine experience
- FACEM, SMO or Senior ED Registrar level experience
- Current CV
- Two qualified referee reports from within the last 12 months
- At least one referee must be from a line manager, HOD or Medical Director

Benefits

- SMO / Senior ED Registrar rates from $2,000 – $2,500 per day




- FACEM rates from $2,700 – $2,900 per day
- Fuel reimbursed at 88 cents per km within WA
