About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist for a temporary contract placement in Portland, VIC, running from 31 August to 6 November 2026, Monday to Friday (76 hours per fortnight). You will manage a generalist physiotherapy caseload treating a diverse range of conditions across various patient demographics, working within a multidisciplinary allied health team delivering community-based prevention, early intervention, post-acute treatment and rehabilitation services. This role requires adaptability and broad expertise to deliver personalised care across different clinical settings, and may require working as a sole practitioner on occasion.
- Manage an inpatient general medicine and orthopaedic caseload
- Deliver community outpatient clinics
- Run rehab groups including Ortho and Falls & Balance
- Provide residential aged care initial assessments and reviews
- Work with and delegate tasks to Allied Health Assistants
- Provide advanced clinical assessment, analysis and treatment for individuals and groups
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

About You:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
- Post graduate clinical qualification(s) in specialty area of practice
- Extensive clinical knowledge, skills and leadership experience in physiotherapy
- Advanced clinical assessment and analysis skills with ability to implement treatments for individuals and groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of relevant accreditation and funding systems
- Computer literacy including organisational IT systems and emerging technologies
- Understanding of the needs and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds
- Understanding of the opportunities and challenges of rural healthcare delivery
- Eligible to work in Australia
