Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.
On behalf of our client we are looking for experienced Underground Truck Drivers or UG Nippers/Offsiders who are interested in learning to be UG AGI Operators.
The will be ongoing roles with our Mining Client at their 5 year contract in the Northern Goldfields. They have a new batch plant and recent Agi's & spray rigs arriving on site needing operators.
This role has career progression to become a shotcrete sprayer. EXPERIENCED SPRAYERS ALSO NEEDED.
These will be permanent positions with our client after a labour hire period.
As the Underground Agi Operator you will be responsible for both underground and above-ground support for shotcreting and concreting tasks.
Point of hire is Perth. Interstate personnel must be willing to fly to Perth at own expense.
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;
ESSENTIAL
- Experience operating an UG Dump Truck or or UG Nipper/Offsider.
- Valid Manual Driver's Licence.
- Due to working on gold mines you must be able to provide a CLEAN National Police Clearance under 3 months old.
- Unrestricted Working rights in Australia.
- Willingness to listen and learn.
- A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.
- Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical drug & alcohol test (at our expense) and regular onsite D&A; testing.
