Disability Support Worker – Part time: Albany, Denmark & Mt Barker WA

About CLA

Community Living Association (CLA) has been Albany's leading disability service provider for over 35 years. We help people with disability engage in the community, live independently and develop life skills.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED: CLA is growing every day, and we are looking for suitably qualified, dynamic, and energetic Support Workers who are dedicated, values-oriented, and people-focused to support our participants with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals. This includes sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays. The role will include actively supporting participants with daily living skills, community access, promoting independence, planning, assisting with medication, and supporting goal achievement.

Experienced working with children and individuals with behaviors of concern.

About CLA Support Workers

- Hours: We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers who live in the Great Southern area and are available to work weekends or sleep over shifts.

About you

- Hold or are interested in completing Cert III in Individual Support

- Relevant experience working in the disability sector

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal & written

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team

- Reliable, proactive, and confident working with people of all abilities

- Commitment to participate in training and development. Availability to work or undertake regular sleep over and weekend shifts.

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Working with Children Check

- West Australian C Class Drivers Licence

- Have access to a reliable motor vehicle that is insured
