Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Client Accounting Specialist to join our Operations team.

In this role, you will oversee the accounting administration processes that underpin our financial planning services. From managing our accounting systems, feeds and transaction rules, to balancing client portfolios at financial year end, processing corporate actions and pension establishments, and supporting SMSF compliance and TBAR reporting, your work will ensure our clients’ records are accurate, compliant and up to date. You will also liaise with external accountants and auditors, and help us continually improve our processes and systems.

This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, takes pride in getting the detail right and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. If you have robust Class experience and are looking to bring your expertise to a values-led firm, we want to hear from you.

Position Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you will need:

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar;
- 2–3 years’ experience in accounting administration within a financial planning, wealth management or broader financial services environment;
- Advanced experience with Class software is essential;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, corporate actions, superannuation, pension establishments and SMSF administration;
- Demonstrated experience managing accounting systems, including user access, feeds, transaction rules, data integrity and reconciliations;
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills,



with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
- Experience leading or contributing to process improvement or system enhancement projects is highly regarded.
