This is an exciting opportunity for a results-focused sales leader to lead a high-performing team, drive sustainable business growth, and play a key role in shaping sales strategy within a well-established organisation.

We are seeking a candidate who brings a combination of strong leadership capability and genuine field sales experience. The successful applicant will be equally comfortable coaching and developing sales representatives as they are identifying opportunities, building customer relationships, and delivering commercial outcomes.

About the Role Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Representatives, driving sales and margin performance, and ensuring strategic objectives are achieved.

This role requires the successful candidate to be based within the Warrnambool region, with regular travel throughout the territory, including Horsham and surrounding areas.

You will provide leadership, coaching, and direction to your team while identifying opportunities to grow existing business, secure new customers, and strengthen customer relationships across your region.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Representatives.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Drive sales and margin growth through strategic planning and execution.
- Develop and implement local sales plans aligned with broader business objectives.
- Protect and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
- Analyse sales performance data and implement corrective actions where required.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews.
- Build solid relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.




- Ensure effective adoption and utilisation of CRM and sales management systems.
- Lead sales meetings and communicate key business initiatives and priorities.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Ideal Background The ideal candidate will combine strong people leadership with proven sales success. You will have experience leading and developing teams while maintaining a hands-on understanding of territory management, customer engagement, business development, and achieving sales and margin targets.
