We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a busy production operation and drive performance across people, productivity, quality, and safety.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating day-to-day operations, leading production teams, and ensuring targets are achieved efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a robust focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop supervisors and operational teams.

- Translate production requirements into clear schedules and daily priorities.

- Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and workflow to maximise efficiency.

- Monitor productivity, output, downtime, and operational performance.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve capacity.

- Identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.

- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.

- Ensure quality standards are maintained across all operational activities.

- Report operational performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience managing operations, production, manufacturing, or similar environments.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams.

- Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

- A track record of improving productivity and operational performance.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
