In this role, you will:

- Identify and quantify exposures across industrial properties.
- Assess the adequacy and operational effectiveness of protection systems.
- Evaluate clients’ in-house loss prevention programs.
- Partner with senior client stakeholders to develop practical strategies that reduce fire risk.
- Prepare risk information for underwriters ahead of insurance renewals.
- Complete desktop reviews of insurance submissions and risk reports for underwriting purposes.
- Deliver loss prevention seminars that build client awareness and capability.
- Manage risk engineering fees, costs and payments.

The role is ideally based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane; however, we welcome applications from experienced risk engineers located anywhere in Australia.

About you

- At least five years’ experience in an engineering consulting environment and a minimum of 10 years’ overall industry experience.
- Construction risk engineering experience is preferred.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven technical report-writing and presentation experience, with the ability to make complex information clear and engaging for non-technical audiences.
- A proactive, motivated approach and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges.
- The ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary package and flexible hybrid working, with the option to work from home two to three days per week.

You will join a values-led, dynamic workplace that supports flexibility, collaboration and continuous learning, with a development framework designed to help you grow.
