About the role
As the Garden & Lawn Care Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end operation of our garden and lawn maintenance services, from the initial customer enquiry and site visit through to quoting, scheduling, service delivery, invoicing and customer retention. You will coordinate a diverse team (currently 3 teams) that includes Disability Support Workers and supported employees, working closely with the team to ensure customers receive reliable, high-quality services while employees are supported to develop their skills and achieve positive employment outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day garden and lawn maintenance services
- Manage customer enquiries, site visits and quotations
- Schedule jobs and coordinate team workloads
- Monitor productivity, workforce utilisation and operational efficiency
- Ensure services are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
- Coordinate invoicing and billing activities
- Manage vehicles, equipment, tools and operational resources
- Provide leadership and day-to-day coordination to Disability Support Workers and supported employees
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and community customers
- Maintain accurate records, reports, timesheets and documentation
- Experience with using Tradify or a similar industry platform
About you
- Demonstrated experience coordinating or supervising gardening, landscaping, grounds maintenance or a similar field service operation
- Proven ability to lead and support diverse teams
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs, schedules and competing priorities
- Experience building customer relationships and delivering high-quality customer service
- Strong administration and computer skills, including scheduling, reporting and record management
- An understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- A current NSW Driver Licence
- A current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
- NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
