The Role
Wyoming Nursing Home is looking for passionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our committed team on a casual basis. You will assist with delivering best-practice clinical care and support that enhances the health and wellbeing of our residents.
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care and clinical advice, assist management with the oversight of clinical governance, and deliver expert care in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
You will also provide leadership and support to staff while promoting a positive and harmonious team environment.
We are currently seeking casual Registered Nurses who are available Monday to Friday across multiple shifts.
In addition, we are looking for RNs who can provide increased shift coverage for approximately one month, from the end of November through December.
About You
You genuinely care about making a difference in the lives of older Australians and are passionate about what you do.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Current AHPRA registration
- At least two years’ experience as an RN working in aged care/home care; however, we will consider less experience for the right person
- Proven clinical care skills, including assessments, medication management, wound and continence management, catheter care and palliative care
- Ability to thrive in a team setting
- Understanding of current Aged Care Quality Standards
- Commitment to contributing to a healthy and supportive workplace culture
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Australian working rights
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
