About the role
Tassie Forest Waters require an Administration & Accounts Officer to join our team. This is a agile, dual-functioning role where you will be the first point of contact for our office while keeping our daily financial transactions running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, verify matching purchase orders, and prepare fortnightly payment runs
- Generate and send client invoices, process incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify corporate credit card expenses
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial data within accounting software (Xero)
- Assist the accountant with monthly reporting, payroll administration, and BAS preparation
- Greet visitors, answer general phone inquiries, and manage the general company email inbox
- Manage mail (incoming/outgoing), document scanning, digital filing, and archiving
- Monitor and order office supplies, kitchen consumables, and ensure meeting spaces are clean and organized
- Assist the management team with booking travel, scheduling meetings, or basic data analysis
About you
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a combined administration and accounts/bookkeeping role
- Strong working knowledge of cloud accounting platforms (Xero)
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, filtering)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time-management skills; ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, professional phone manner
- Certificate III/IV in Accounts Administration, Business Administration, or Bookkeeping (preferred but not essential)
