Circa $75k -$80k (negotiable on experience) + Super + Bonus

POP MART is a global pop-culture and designer-toy brand with 550+ stores and 2,300 Robo Shops across 30+ countries.
As we continue to expand across Australia and New Zealand, we're looking for a passionate and people-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our growing retail team. Immediate start available in our existing store, allowing plenty of time to train ahead of our brand-new location opening in Chadstone in November 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced retail leader who enjoys coaching teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving strong commercial outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
Lead & Develop the Team
• Recruit, coach and develop high-performing teams
• Create a positive, accountable and customer-focused culture
• Conduct regular performance and development conversations
• Support succession planning and talent development
Drive Commercial Results
• Deliver sales, wage and KPI targets
• Analyse store performance metrics and implement action plans
• Drive productivity,
profitability and operational excellence
Lead Store Operations
• Manage inventory accuracy, deliveries and stock control
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising and presentation standards
• Lead successful execution of product launches and promotional campaigns
Champion Customer Experience
• Lead from the front during daily trade
• Deliver exceptional service standards
• Create memorable experiences for collectors, fans and customers
• Foster a customer-first culture throughout the store
Who You Are
• An experienced Store Manager from a high-volume retail workplace
• A confident and engaging people leader
• Commercially focused with a proven track record of delivering results
• Skilled at coaching and developing teams
• Organised, resilient and adaptable
• Passionate about customer experience and operational excellence
Availability Requirements
• Flexible availability across all 7 days is required.
• Typical rosters include weekends, late-night trading and public holidays.
• We aim to provide structured rosters with two consecutive days off in a standard week, supporting work-life balance and roster consistency.
• While rosters are planned in advance, flexibility to support business needs, peak trading periods and major product launches is expected.
• Availability throughout peak trading periods, including November to January, is essential.
