Role Type: Permanent Part-Time Position (30 Hours Per Fortnight)

Roster: Every Monday and 1 weekend/fortnight (with sick and annual leave coverage as required)
Remuneration: $31.99/ per hour + Super + Salary Packaging + Staff discounts & benefits

Your Role – More Than Just Cooking As a Chef you will:

- Prepare and present varied, nourishing, and appetizing meals that align with dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure a protected, clean, and efficient kitchen environment, maintaining hygiene and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance meal services.
- Lead and support kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance and team-driven culture.
- Manage kitchen finances, including menu planning, budgeting, and stock control.
- Evaluate and improve catering services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resident satisfaction.

What You Bring to the Table

- A relevant trade qualification (Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).




- Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally in Aged Care or large-scale catering.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff.
- Knowledge of secure food handling practices and WHS compliance.
- A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence.
- Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
