South West Rocks Dental is seeking an experienced, people-focused Lead Receptionist to lead our front-of-house team and support our clinical team.

South West Rocks Dental is seeking a Lead Receptionist to join our team for 4 days per week. This role suits someone with strong communication skills and leadership experience, who takes pride in delivering an excellent patient experience.

Our front desk sets the standard for how patients experience our practice. As Lead Receptionist, you will lead the front-of-house team, keep the practice running smoothly and help us provide every patient with qualified, considered care.

About the role

- Leading, training and supporting the front-of-house team

- Managing appointment scheduling, patient flow, accounts and recall systems

- Being the first point of contact for patients, in person and by phone

- Providing chairside dental assistance and sterilisation support as required

- Working with the practice owners, Dr David and Juanita Keir, and our Leadership Team (from our Wauchope Practice) to maintain and improve practice systems

About you




- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience is highly regarded

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- A genuine commitment to patient care and customer service

- Willingness to learn and perform dental assisting duties (training provided)

- Dental reception or dental assisting experience is highly regarded but not essential
