We have a great opportunity for a part time paralegal, to work under the direction and mentorship of the firms Director, at our Parramatta office.
This is a great opportunity for a law student to learn and grow their personal injury skills under the tutelage of Senior Solicitor and Director.
Pathway to a solicitor role for the right candidate.
THE ROLE:
You will work on a variety of personal injury cases inclusive of workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence, TPD and public liability claims.
This is a role for a candidate serious about bolstering their legal career, with real hands on experience and mentorship.
Your daily tasks will include, inter alia:
- Drafting and collating legal documents and correspondence;
- Drafting statements;
- Preparing chronologies;
- Preparing Counsel briefs;
- Arranging medico-legal appointments;
- Preparing schedules;
- Liaising with clients, medical and legal professionals and other government bodies.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- You MUST be in the 2nd or 3rd year of your law degree and be able to work a minimum of three (3) days per week - 8:30am to 5:30pm;
- A bright, switched on law student with a passion for helping people;
- Previous experience in personal injury is preferred;
