The Supervisor - FIFO 8:6 roster position is a full-time role based at Sino Iron Ore project in Cape Preston. This essential supervisory role at Boton Conveyor Services (BCS) oversees the daily operations and maintenance activities on site. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a group of technicians and ensuring efficient, secure, and reliable service delivery to BCS clients.

What you'll be doing
- Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians to complete maintenance and repair tasks
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure compliance with BCS standards and client requirements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to team members
- Liaise with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
What we're looking for
- Experience (3+ years) in a similar supervisory role within the mining, resources, or engineering industries
- Current and valid:
o Minimum C" class motor vehicle license
o Enter and work in confined spaces (RIIWHS202E)
o Work safely at Heights (RIIWHS204E)
o Gas test atmospheres (MSMWHS217)
o Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment (CPPFES2005)
o Construction White Card
- Section 26 training and statement of attainment
- Strong technical expertise and understanding of mining equipment and maintenance procedures
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology
