The role
The Developer Works Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring infrastructure solutions align with Gippsland Water standards. They will work with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to achieve satisfactory closure of audit findings. The role is also required to identify emerging risks, share lessons and recommend practical improvements. This role ensures that organisational, environmental and regulatory obligations are so that developer works, and property connection activities are undertaken safely.
What you’ll bring
- Ability to interpret specifications, standards and construction documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to be able to provide solutions.
- Well-developed presentation skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the workplace safety requirements and risk management principles.
- Knowledge of water industry design and construction standards.
- Ability to communicate with anyone in a qualified and constructive manner.
