Norton Gold Fields is seeking an organised and detail-focused Document Controller to join our Project Development team on a fixed-term basis.
Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, you will manage project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring information is accurate, controlled and readily available. Working closely with engineers, project managers and contractors, you will support the delivery of our Paddington Project through effective document management.

About the role:
- Establish and maintain the project Document Management System (DMS)
- Register, track, and control all incoming and outgoing project documents
- Manage version control and document revisions
- Distribute documents in line with distribution matrices
- Support audits and ensure document compliance and quality
- Prepare documents for archiving and project handover
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- At least two years’ document control experience, preferably in mining, construction, or engineering projects.
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline are preferred.
Certification in Records Management or Document Control will be highly regarded.
- Experience managing documentation across design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems such as Aconex, Documentum or SharePoint.
- Understanding of document control practices, revision management, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to supporting project teams.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
