ABOUT THE ROLE

- Work alongside a team of CRM specialists and analysts, looking after our CRM systems and the data processes that connect to them.
- Take on core CRM administration and data processing while the team delivers a major systems project
- This is an opportunity to manage day-to-day work independently, with minimal oversight as well as to support the team to enhance our systems.
- Fixed term 12 months, hybrid options available.
- Salary: $118,791.09 per annum, plus super and salary packaging option.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As the Database Specialist, you work alongside a team of CRM specialists and analysts to keep Amnesty International Australia's CRM systems and associated data processes running smoothly and reliably. You cover core CRM administration, data processing and BAU work while the team delivers a major systems project. You identify and resolve minor process inefficiencies along the way.
KEY DUTIES
CRM Administration and Configuration
- Configure and maintain CRM systems to meet business requirements, including user roles, permissions and security settings
- Manage data processing tasks including imports, exports and integrations with external platforms
- Provide help desk support for end users including queries, segments, troubleshooting and system requests
- Maintain vendor relationships with Blackbaud and payment processors, managing escalations and system issues
Process Improvement (as capacity allows)
- Flag inefficient or overly manual processes where they come up, and fix the quick wins
- Document processes clearly, so knowledge isn't held by one person
Data Governance
- Maintain data quality standards and support master data management practices
- Support privacy and security compliance requirements
- Assist Finance with relevant data processes including payment authorisations and transaction processing
Team Development
- Provide training to team members and stakeholders on CRM functionality and data processes
Other tasks within your skills and competence as required.
QUALIFICATIONS + EXPERIENCE
- Significant experience administering CRM platforms in a fundraising, membership or similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to run CRM administration independently, with minimal supervision or ramp-up time
- Experience with data imports, exports and integrations between systems
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
- Ability to provide effective user support and training
DESIRABLE
- Experience with Blackbaud CRM (and BVDL - Brightvine Data Link) or similar enterprise fundraising platforms
- Experience with payment processing systems and reconciliation
- Familiarity with data governance principles
- Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
- Demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with rights holders
SKILLS
- Reliable and self-directed, comfortable owning BAU workload without close supervision
- Solution mindset with a preference to fix problems and document them, comfortable raising challenges
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills, able to adjust to people from different backgrounds.

Location: Based in any Action Centre / Co-working space.
Employment: 12 months fixed term, full-time.
Reports to: Data, Insights + Supporter Care (DISC) Manager
