Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcement products supporting the construction and infrastructure industries. They manufacture and distribute a range of reinforcing steel, mesh and associated products used across residential, commercial and major civil projects.
Shift structure
Day shift: Monday to Friday | 7am – 3pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday | 1pm – 9pm
What You Will Be Doing
Your following duties will include:
- Operate the forklift to move materials around the factory
- Loading, unloading trucks and transport pallets
- Making sure the yard is well maintained and clean at all times
- Receive incoming stock and unload deliveries from trucks and containers
- Break down pallets and unpack individual products for processing
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately in accordance with pick slips and dispatch schedules
- Sort, organise and allocate products into customer-specific orders
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products are free from damage and meet customer specifications
- Label, wrap and prepare completed orders for dispatch
What You Will Need
- Driver's Licence + reliable transport
- Previous forklift operating experience (min 6 months)
- Ability to pass a Pre Employment Medical + Drug & Alcohol Screen
