genU is looking for Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement such as swimming.

Good availability is required Monday to Friday + some weekend work.

What you’ll do

- Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them;
- Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting and medication administration;
- Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
- Administration duties and mandatory reporting

What you’ll bring

- Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
- Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
- An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities;
- Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity;




- A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)

- Certificate III in disability or individual support or higher
