Part-Time Property Management & Inspections Officer

Love property management, but don't necessarily want the pressure of managing your own portfolio? This could be the role for you.

Vault Property Management is looking for an experienced, organised and reliable person to join our Adelaide team in a flexible part-time role.

Working three days per week, you will work alongside our Senior Property Manager and primarily take ownership of inspections across our Adelaide portfolio. When you are not out on the road, you will work from home assisting with maintenance, follow-ups and general property management support.

No office commute. No portfolio of your own. No sales.

Just a varied property management role where you can manage your day, get out from behind the desk and be an significant part of a small, supportive team.

What your week will look like

Your role will include:

Conducting routine property inspections

Completing ingoing and outgoing inspections

Preparing thorough inspection reports, photographs and notes

Identifying and reporting maintenance or property concerns

Assisting with maintenance coordination and following up outstanding works

Liaising with tenants, landlords and trades where required

Keeping work orders and property management tasks moving

Providing general support to our Senior Property Manager

Some days will be inspection-heavy and have you out and about across Adelaide. Other days may see you working predominantly from home following up maintenance and completing property management tasks.

Where you will be working





Our portfolio is spread across metropolitan Adelaide, from Munno Para through the Adelaide CBD and down to Christies Beach , so you will need to enjoy being on the road and be comfortable planning your day efficiently.

We are ideally looking for someone who lives in or around Birkenhead, Port Adelaide or the surrounding suburbs , as regular collection and handover of property keys will be required.

You will need your own reliable vehicle, with a vehicle allowance provided for business travel .

Who we are looking for

This could be a great fit if you have worked in property management before but are looking for something a little different.

Perhaps you want to step away from managing a full portfolio. Maybe you're looking for a genuine three-day working week, or you simply want more flexibility without leaving the property industry altogether.

You will ideally:

Have previous property management, inspections or real estate experience

Be confident conducting inspections independently

Have excellent attention to detail

Be comfortable communicating with tenants, landlords and trades

Be organised and capable of planning your own working day

Be confident working independently from home





Be proactive – if something needs following up, you will follow it through

Enjoy being part of a team even though you won't be sitting together in an office every day

Hold the appropriate South Australian registration/licensing required for the position

Have a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Most importantly, we are looking for someone dependable who takes pride in their work and genuinely wants to be part of the team.
