Sales & Administration Coordinator – Fitness Equipment Showroom

Aussie Fitness Equipment is looking for a switched-on, organised and enthusiastic Sales & Administration Coordinator to join our Sunshine Coast team.

This is a key role across customer service, sales, administration and order coordination . You’ll be one of the main points of contact for our customers while helping make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, has strong sales experience and, most importantly, is proactive and exceptionally organised . You’ll be someone who notices what needs to happen next, follows things up and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

The Role

Your day-to-day will include:

- Managing customer enquiries across email, phone, online and in-store
- Assisting customers with product selection and providing a excellent showroom experience
- Preparing quotes and following up enquiries and potential sales
- Processing showroom, phone and online orders
- Managing sales administration, invoicing and payments
- Monitoring orders from purchase through to collection or delivery
- Proactively keeping customers updated on their orders
- Liaising between our showroom and warehouse teams to keep orders moving
- Assisting with Shopify orders and basic website/product updates
- Maintaining accurate customer, order and product information
- Identifying issues or delays early and following them through to resolution

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

- Previous sales and customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- A friendly,



enthusiastic and genuine approach to customers
- Confidence communicating by phone, email and face-to-face
- The ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- A proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
- The ability to work independently while communicating well within a small team

Experience with Shopify, Retail Express or e-commerce would be highly regarded, but isn’t essential. An interest in fitness is a bonus - attitude, initiative and customer service are more significant to us.

Hours, Start Date & Pay

The position will initially be casual, moving to approximately 25–30+ hours per week once fully commenced, with the potential to grow into a part-time or full-time role.

We’re recruiting early to find the right person and allow for a smooth handover. Ideally, the successful candidate will be available for some training and introductory hours throughout November, before moving into their regular hours from December onwards.

Our showroom is open 9am–5pm Monday to Friday , with rotational Saturday and Sunday shifts as required. Flexibility across both weekday and weekend hours is essential for this role.

The position will be paid at General Retail Industry Award , including applicable casual loading and weekend penalty rates. Monday–Friday: $34.76/hr, Saturday: $41.72/hr, Sunday: $48.67/hr

Aussie Fitness Equipment is a family-owned fitness equipment retailer based in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast.

Established in 2005, we supply home and commercial gym equipment through our showroom and online store Australia-wide.

Owners Lisa and Karl bring more than 20 years of combined fitness industry experience, including nine years building and operating their own gyms, before taking over Aussie Fitness Equipment in 2025.

We’re a small, hands-on team that values great communication, initiative, accountability and genuine customer service .
