Job Description:
Specialist Haematologist
7 hours per fortnight Fractional/Ongoing
The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Unit Description:
The Haematology Unit in Public Pathology Victoria- Melbourne Health, located at the Royal Children’s Hospital provides integrated diagnostic and clinical haematology services to both RCH and RWH.
About the role:
- This role will provide out-patient and consultative advice to the Royal Women’s Hospital and requires a dual trained (FRCPA and FRACP) Haematologist with experience in women’s health, pregnancy and perinatal haematology
About You:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Fellowships in Haematology with the RACP and RCPA
