About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Technology Mandatory in Stage 4, fostering creativity, design thinking, problem-solving, and digital capability.
- Teach Computing and related technology subjects across Years 7-12.
- Develop engaging learning experiences that encourage students to become confident creators, innovators, and critical users of technology.
- Support and promote girls’ participation and achievement in STEM and technology-based learning.
- Contribute actively to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School.
About You
You will be:
- A qualified teacher with NESA accreditation (or eligibility for accreditation) in NSW.
- Experienced in, or capable of teaching, Technology Mandatory and senior Computing-related courses.
- Passionate about digital technologies, computational thinking, coding, emerging technologies, and preparing students for a changing technological landscape.
- An innovative and collaborative educator committed to excellence in teaching and learning.
- Skilled in building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Supportive of the Christian ethos and values of Tara Anglican School for Girls.
