This expansion will significantly increase our capacity and enable us to meet the rapidly growing healthcare needs of the Wyndham community, providing timely, high-quality emergency care to an additional 25,000 patients each year.The expanded will increase treatment spaces from 33 to 67, including state-of-the-art resuscitation bays and dedicated short-stay beds, creating one of Victoria’s most exciting Emergency Department growth opportunities.As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will pay a key leadership role within the Emergency Department nursing team, supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Managers to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care. You will provide clinical leadership, coordinate daily operations, and support nursing staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.This role is ideal for an experienced Emergency Department nurse who is looking to further develop their leadership career while remaining actively involved in clinical practice. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow, workforce coordination and high standards of care.You will:Assist in the operational leadership and day-to-day coordination of the Emergency DepartmentProvide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff across all shiftsPromote evidence-based practice and ensure safe,

You enjoy supporting others, driving high standards of clinical practice and contributing to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.To thrive in this role, you will have:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NursePostgraduate qualification in Critical Care, Emergency Nursing or a related specialtyMinimum five years’ experience in acute and/or Emergency Department nursingDemonstrated leadership experience or experience acting in a senior nursing roleExcellent clinical, organisational, communication and time management skillsStrong decision-making and problem solving skills in complex clinical environmentsDemonstrated ability to support staff, coordinate patient flow and manage competing prioritiesCommitment to patient-centred care,
