Meat at Billys Butchers is recruiting qualified Butchers at their Ashgrove QLD processing and storage facility. The successful candidate will need to:
- Prepare meat by removing bones, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size as ordered
- Prepare crumbed cuts of meat, and marinating, seasoning and curing special cuts
- Select and prepare meat to produce smallgoods
- Operate machines to grind, mix, mince and tenderise meat
- Make seasonings and pickles by mixing spices, salt and other ingredients
- Operate sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats
Skills & Attributes:
- Must have 3 years’ experience as a Butcher
- Certificate III in Meat Processing or related Qualification
- OH&S; awareness
- Food Handling and RSA certificates required
Salary range is $75,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience Full time Positions available Applications open on 8th September 2026 and closes on 8th October 2026
