Step into a rewarding role as an all-rounder support worker for one of our clients at our on-site shared support in Nundah.

Our client enjoys reading, listening to music and completing quizzes/crosswords. A great day for our client would be engaging with her family, watching her favourite TV programs and world news, listening to audiobooks and podcasts or doing the daily WORDLE quiz. Our client has a great sense of humour and loves to be positive!

She values open and honest communication, creating a space where everyone feels respected, celebrated, and genuinely heard.

The role includes personal care, assistance with housework and meals, with community access when required.

Shifts that are available:

Monday’s 9:30am to 12:30pm

Friday’s 9:30am to 12:30pm

QSSS hourly rates areWeekday $37.35, Evening $40.11, Night $41.20, Saturday $50.96, Sunday $65.59, Public Holidays $80.01 (sorry, rate not negotiable).





We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions whererequired, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having theassurance of consistency ofC lientsyou support. You have a comprehensive suite ofonline learning to support you and face to face learnings.

Your key responsibilities & accountabilities:

To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered

Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist

Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Client’s needs

Provide support to our Clients as required

Have positive rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner

Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required

Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients

To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

To be successful you must:

Resonate with the role description above

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia

Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
