An established medical imaging provider is seeking an experienced CT Radiographer to join its Gold Coast team in a permanent full-time position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiographer with CT experience who wants to develop their career in medical imaging on the Gold Coast . You’ll join an experienced team, work with modern imaging technology and have access to ongoing training, professional development and career progression .
Experience in MRI and/or Mammography will be highly regarded.
Work Across CT & Diagnostic Imaging
The successful CT Radiographer will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining excellent patient care and clinical standards.
Your work will include:
- CT imaging and general radiography
- Patient preparation, positioning and care
- Producing high-quality diagnostic images
- Applying appropriate imaging protocols and radiation safety procedures
- Working alongside Radiologists, Radiographers and other medical imaging professionals
- Maintaining high standards of clinical practice and workplace health and safety
- Participating in education, training and ongoing professional development
This is a varied medical imaging job on the Gold Coast suited to a Radiographer who enjoys working in a busy clinical environment.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this CT Radiographer job , you will ideally have:
- Minimum 1 year CT experience
- General radiography experience
- MRI experience desirable
- Mammography / Mammo experience desirable
- Canon CT experience advantageous
- GE MRI experience advantageous
- IV cannulation experience preferred
- Relevant university qualification in Medical Imaging, Medical Radiation Science or Diagnostic Radiography
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Queensland Radiation Licence
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and WHS
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational abilities
