Task & responsibilities
As a Solid Plasterer, you will be responsible for a range of plastering and rendering work across residential and commercial projects, including:
- Prepare surfaces and work areas for plastering and rendering.
- Measure, mix and apply plaster, render and other materials.
- Apply coats of plaster to walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
- Smooth, level and finish plastered surfaces to achieve the required standard.
- Repair cracks,
damaged plaster and existing surfaces.
- Install and finish plaster mouldings, cornices and decorative features where required.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
- Ensure plastering work is completed accurately and within project timeframes.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Work effectively with other trades and construction team members.
- Inspect completed work and rectify defects to ensure a high-quality finish.
Qualification & experience
- Certificate III or above preferred
- White card (Mandatory)
- Driver Licence (Preferred, will be prioritized)
- Work Authorization: Australia
- Work experience required: 2 - 4 years (Mandatory)
